Come join us for the 2022 June Lake Triathlon Camp June 17th-19th!
June Lake is nestled in what is called the “Switzerland of California” Spend the weekend in this charming village and alpine setting swimming, biking, and running with us and get ready to race the Alpha Win – June Lake Triathlon on July 9th.
Participants will be hosted at the Double Eagle Resort and Spa with access to the resorts indoor pool and fitness center. Swim in beautiful June Lake, and bike and run in the majestic mountain setting on the June Lake Triathlon race course.
The camp will present the opportunity to receive expert training tips for triathlon and high-altitude racing. Each session is coached to provide athletes with feedback on mechanics, using video movement analysis for swim stroke and run gate. Sessions will also include transition practice, bike handling skills and open water swimming.
All skill levels and ages are welcome! Whether you are looking to get some training in before the race, or you are looking for a weekend fun-filled getaway, this is the camp for you.
USAT Certified Coaches Deb Carabet and Alana Gillmore will be coaching this high-altitude camp. Joining Deb and Alana will be Alpha Win race director, Tommy Struzzieri, previously a USAT age group All-American in triathlon and a Division 1 cross country and track athlete at Syracuse University.
Deb’s passion for racing extends far beyond the finish line, to a personal and professional mission of helping women, beginners and challenged athletes proudly join the triathlon community – and win, no matter what winning means to them. After receiving a grant from Ironman Foundation’s Women for Tri, she created her now-beloved Elevate Women 4 Tri Women’s Triathlon Training Program. She was also named coach and director of women’s training programs for L.A. Tri Club, Legacy Triathlon and Herbalife24 Triathlon L.A.
Today, Deb is the owner of Elevate Multisport and Elevate Women 4 Tri.
