Join us this January for a Draft-Legal Bike Course for the Olympic and Sprint distances of the Sarasota Triathlon!

What does this mean for you?

Drafting is permitted on the bike course
You can work together with other athletes in groups to push the pace

No aerobars or triathlon bikes will be allowed. 

This is your chance to experience the thrill of draft-legal racing! USAT draft-legal rules will apply—check out the official guidelines to familiarize yourself with the format.

We’re also excited to offer the Open Distance to the event! New to the sport of triathlon? The Open distance is the perfect place for beginner athletes to start.

Nathan Benderson Park is a world-class multi-purpose recreation center situated in a 600 acre park that incorporates a 400 acre artificial lake.  It is the perfect winter destination for a triathlon event with daily mean temperatures in the low to mid 60’s.
