Waterside Spa
2 Ferry St, Saugerties, NY 12477
Bring your canoe, kayak or SUP, and paddle a beautiful section of the Esopus Creek where it meets the mighty Hudson River. Leaving from Waterside Spa at Diamond Mills (located at 2 Ferry Street, Saugerties), racers will paddle-off from Waterside Spa toward the Saugerties Lighthouse on this scenic and smooth course offering two distances, 1.5 or 3 miles, for racers of any skill level. Race as a single or double team, with top-three awards in each section. After the race, enjoy lunch at Waterside Café catered by BLACKBARN Hudson Valley, included with your entry. Waterside Spa will be offering special services to racers for a nominal cost, or make an appointment for an indulgent massage, body treatment or facial to celebrate your victory!
While registration for the event is free, participants are asked to donate to the official charity of the Waterside Spa Canoe & Kayak Race, the United Way of Ulster County. For more information on the United Way, visit their website at ulsterunitedway.org, and click here to donate now!
Please be reminded to bring your own gear, including life vests, paddle craft (canoes, kayak, or SUP), oars/paddles, and any other necessary equipment for the race. Ensuring you have all your personal items will help us run a smooth and safe event. We look forward to seeing you at the starting line!
