The following timeline provides a brief overview of the weekend’s events at the Alpha Win Triathlon Series – Sarasota, FL. All times are subject to change.

Monday, December 8, 2025

  • 7 pm: Pre-Race Clinic led by Triathlon Coach Amy Maxwell** via Zoom (Details to Follow)

Saturday, January 10, 2026

Race Clinic – Race Site at Nathan Benderson Park, 5851 Nathan Benderson Circle, Sarasota, FL  34235

  • 1 pm: Race Clinic led by Triathlon Coach Amy Maxwell**

Packet Pickup – Ryder Bikes Shop, 5275 University Parkway, Unit #135 University Park, FL 34201

  • 2 – 6 pm: Packet and Timing Chip Pick-Up for all distances*
  • 3 – 4 pm: Athlete Meeting for all distance athletes

*It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that athletes pick up their packets on Saturday

• 8:50 am: Athlete Meeting for Sprint distance athletes
• 9:00 am: Sprint College Division race start
• 9:03 am: Sprint Male race start
• 9:06 am: Sprint Female race start
• 9:08 am: Sprint Duathlon race start
• 9:40 am: Transition area closed to Olympic distance athletes
• 9:50 am: Athlete Meeting for Olympic distance athletes
• 10:00 am: Olympic College Division race start
• 10:03 am: Olympic Male race start

• 10:30 am: Sprint distance Awards Ceremony**
• 11:40 am: Transition area closed to Open distance athletes
• 11:50 am: Athlete Meeting for Open distance athletes
• 12:00 am: Open race start
• 1:00 pm: Open distance Awards Ceremony**
• 1:30 pm: Olympic distance Awards Ceremony**
• 3:15 pm: Transition area closes

**PLEASE NOTE: Athletes MUST be present at their Awards Ceremony to receive an award. Unclaimed awards may be shipped if request is made within two weeks after the event. Athlete is responsible for a $10 shipping and handling fee.

** Amy Maxwell is a USAT Level II Coach, 2022 College Coach of the Year, and recipient of the 2023 Coach Mike Krzyzewski Developing Leaders of Character Through Sport Award. As the head coach of the Army West Point Triathlon Team for the past ten years, and the owner and head coach of Roots Racing, she has guided both elite and age-group athletes to numerous podium finishes, personal bests, and world championship podiums. Her coaching approach is simple, direct, and grounded in science- helping athletes perform with confidence, purpose, and consistency.

I love Alpha Win events

I love Alpha Win events because not only are the events fun and well mapped out, with multiple volunteers and police to assist you (so you are safe and know exactly where you are going) but also because the staff is exceptional!  They are so helpful and friendly! I participated in the Alpha Win Tri Camp, the Lake George Triathlon, and the Saugerties Triathlon and definitely plan on participating in the same events and attending more this year!  I highly recommend and can't even express my gratitude to all the people that make these events possible!

I love Alpha Win events because not only are the events fun and well mapped out, with multiple volunteers and police to assist you (so you are safe and know exactly where you are going) but also because the staff is exceptional!  They are so helpful and friendly! Great races with a personalized feel!

Last season I raced the Lake George 70.3 and the Saugerties Triathlon (Sprint), and each event was like racing with friends. The Alpha Win team recognized me, and welcomed and encouraged me before and throughout each race. As soon as I crossed the finish line in Lake George 2021, I made plans to enter for 2022 as my A-race for the season.
