Lake George Tri Camp Schedule
Campers are encouraged to arrive Friday if they are from out of town and check into lodging.
4 – 5 pm: Meet at Lake George Battlefield State Campground. There will be an opportunity for an optional fun shake-out run to get ready for the weekend. Campers will also be given swag.
8 am: Campers will meet in Bolton Landing for a swim around Green Island. Campers can swim 100 meters up to 1.9 miles.
2 pm: Campers will meet at Lake George Battlefield State Campground for a run and have a chance to meet and run with a world-class local runner. Campers will go through a warmup and workout and learn about interval training.
Campers will learn the proper way to foam roll and stretch after the workout.
6 pm: Campers will be provided dinner at Sunrise Cafe in Bolton Landing.
7 pm: Gate analysis and film review at Sunrise Cafe in Bolton Landing.
Campers will have a chance to review courses and specifics on the upcoming race and talk to coaches.
SUNDAY MORNING 8/13
9 am: Meet at Lake George Battlefield State Campground for a 2-hour bike ride with training tips on the Lake George Triathlon course.
Following the bike ride, we will go through and practice for a faster transition and wrap-up with PowerBar Sports nutrition.
