The following timeline provides a brief overview of the weekend’s events at the Alpha Win – Napa Valley, California. All times are subject to change.

Friday, April 4, 2025 – Race Site at Putah Canyon

  • 2 – 6 pm: Packet and Timing Chip Pick-Up for all distances*
  • 3 – 4 pm: Athlete Meeting for all distance athletes

*It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that all distance athletes pick up their packets on Friday.

Saturday, April 5, 2025 – Race Site at Putah Canyon

  • 7 – 9:30 am: Additional Packet and Timing Chip Pick-Up for all athletes
  • 7 – 9:30 am: Bike and Gear Drop-Off for all distance athletes
  • 8:40 am: Transition area closed to Long Course distance athletes
  • 8:50 am: Athlete Meeting for Long Course distance athletes
  • 9:00 am: Long Course male wave start
  • 9:03 am: Long Course female wave start
  • 9:40 am: Transition area closed to Sprint athletes
  • 9:50 am: Athlete Meeting for Sprint distance athletes
  • 10:00 am: Sprint Male wave start
  • 10:03 am: Sprint Female wave start
  • 10:08 am: Sprint Duathlon wave start
  • 10:10 am: Transition area closed to Olympic distance athletes
  • 10:20 am: Athlete Meeting for Olympic distance athletes
  • 10:30 am: Olympic Male wave start
  • 10:33 am: Olympic Female wave start
  • 12:15 am: Sprint distance Awards Ceremony**
  • 12:30 pm: Packet and Timing Chip Pick-Up for Open distance athletes
  • 12:30 pm: Bike and Gear Drop-Off for Open distance athletes
  • 1:20 pm: Athlete Meeting for Open distance athletes
  • 1:30 pm: Alpha Open race start
  • 2:00 pm: Olympic distance Awards Ceremony**
  • 2:30 pm: Alpha Open Awards Ceremony**
  • 4:15 pm: Long Course distance Awards**
  • 5:30 pm: Transition area closed to Open, Sprint and Olympic distance athletes

**PLEASE NOTE: Awards ceremony times are subject to change judging by how fast athletes finish the race. Athletes MUST be present at their Awards Ceremony to receive an award. Unclaimed awards may be shipped if the request is made within two weeks after the event. The athlete is responsible for a $10 shipping and handling fee.

PLEASE NOTE: All participants, volunteers and spectators must park in the campgrounds on the west side of Knoxville Rd. Campers in spaces 78-100 will not be permitted to enter or exit the race site between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 5, 2025.

I love Alpha Win events

I love Alpha Win events because not only are the events fun and well mapped out, with multiple volunteers and police to assist you (so you are safe and know exactly where you are going) but also because the staff is exceptional!  They are so helpful and friendly! I participated in the Alpha Win Tri Camp, the Lake George Triathlon, and the Saugerties Triathlon and definitely plan on participating in the same events and attending more this year!  I highly recommend and can't even express my gratitude to all the people that make these events possible!

Great races with a personalized feel!

Last season I raced the Lake George 70.3 and the Saugerties Triathlon (Sprint), and each event was like racing with friends. The Alpha Win team recognized me, and welcomed and encouraged me before and throughout each race. I often struggle to control my race day nerves but these races felt different - they were fun while still being challenging. As soon as I crossed the finish line in Lake George 2021, I made plans to enter for 2022 as my A-race for the season. I can't say enough good things about Alpha Win - I'm looking forward to another great race season!
