The following timeline provides a brief overview of the weekend’s events at the Alpha Win – Palm Springs, California. All times are subject to change.

Friday, October 18, 2024 – Race Site at Lake Cahuilla Park

• 2 – 6 pm: Packet and Timing Chip Pick-Up for all distances*
• 2 – 6 pm: Wetsuit Decontamination (Click HERE for more information)
• 3 – 4 pm: Athlete Meeting for all distance athletes
*It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that athletes pick up their packets on Friday

Saturday, October 19, 2024 – Race Site at Lake Cahuilla Park

• 5 – 8:15 am: Additional Packet and Timing Chip Pick-up for all distance athletes
• 5 – 8:15 am: Additional Wetsuit Decontamination (Click HERE for more information)
• 5 – 6:30 am: Bike and Gear Drop-Off for Long Course distance athletes
• 5 – 7:30 am: Bike and Gear Drop-Off for Sprint distance athletes
• 5 – 8:15 am: Bike and Gear Drop-Off for Olympic distance athletes
• 6 am – 4 pm: Alpha Win Fitness Expo
• 6:40 am: Transition area closed to Long Course distance athletes
• 6:50 am: Athlete Meeting for Long Course distance athletes
• 7:00 am: Long Course Male race start
• 7:03 am: Long Course Female race start
• 7:55 am: Transition area closed to Sprint distance athletes
• 8:05 am: Athlete Meeting for Sprint distance athletes
• 8:15 am: Sprint Male race start
• 8:18 am: Sprint Female race start
• 8:23 am: Sprint Duathlon race start
• 8:40 am: Transition area closed to Olympic distance athletes
• 8:50 am: Athlete Meeting for Olympic distance athletes
• 9:00 am: Olympic Male race start
• 9:03 am: Olympic Female race start
• 10:00 am: Sprint distance Awards Ceremony**
• 11:00 am: Splash & Dash race start
• 12:45 pm: Olympic distance Awards Ceremony**
• 2 pm: Long Course distance Awards**
• 4 pm: Transition Area closes
**PLEASE NOTE: Awards Ceremony times are based on how many athletes are finished and are subject to change. Athletes MUST be present at their Awards Ceremony to receive an award. Unclaimed awards may be shipped if request is made within two weeks after the event. Athlete is responsible for a $10 shipping and handling fee.

That was my first full Ironman. I would not have wanted the experience any other way. Thank you for your efforts in keeping a small town race and treating everyone there like they were family! It was awesome!

I love Alpha Win events

I love Alpha Win events because not only are the events fun and well mapped out, with multiple volunteers and police to assist you (so you are safe and know exactly where you are going) but also because the staff is exceptional!  They are so helpful and friendly! I participated in the Alpha Win Tri Camp, the Lake George Triathlon, and the Saugerties Triathlon and definitely plan on participating in the same events and attending more this year!  I highly recommend and can't even express my gratitude to all the people that make these events possible!

Great races with a personalized feel!

Last season I raced the Lake George 70.3 and the Saugerties Triathlon (Sprint), and each event was like racing with friends. The Alpha Win team recognized me, and welcomed and encouraged me before and throughout each race. I often struggle to control my race day nerves but these races felt different - they were fun while still being challenging. As soon as I crossed the finish line in Lake George 2021, I made plans to enter for 2022 as my A-race for the season. I can't say enough good things about Alpha Win - I'm looking forward to another great race season!
