Alpha Win Concludes 2023 West Coast Triathlon Series at Palm Springs and Napa Valley

Napa, CA – October 31, 2023 Alpha Win’s California Triathlon Series came to a close this month as athletes showcased their grit and endurance during the Palm Springs Triathlon, presented by La Quinta Resort, and Napa Valley Fall Triathlon. The Palm Springs Triathlon was held on October 21 at Lake Cahuilla and featured the USA Triathlon Military & First Responders National Championships. The Alpha Win team then headed north for the Napa Valley Fall Triathlon at Lake Berryessa on October 28. Each triathlon held true to the Alpha Win motto and featured “a distance for everyone” with the Long Course, Olympic and Sprint distances. At the Palm Springs Triathlon junior athletes had the opportunity to compete in the Splash & Dash, while the Napa Valley Fall Triathlon included the Open distance for those that are new to the sport.

Athletes worked hard during the Palm Springs Triathlon, which featured water temp in the mid 70’s. The Coachella Valley offered a stunning venue that featured beautiful vistas in a dry and sunny climate. The fast course offered athletes an opportunity to push themselves as they tried to achieve new PRs.

There were multiple divisions to recognize the efforts of USAT Military & First Responders during the National Championships. The Airforce’s Joel Bischoff earned the Active Duty Olympic Championship and noted, “I think this is a great opportunity for those that are serving to get recognition for the hard work we are doing on a day-to-day basis, but still finding time to train and be physically fit. That’s an important part of the military, but it’s something that isn’t always highlighted, so it’s great when organizations like Alpha Win host these races that bring the military out and show we can be pretty competitive athletes even with a full-time job.”

Alpha Win looks forward to hosting the 2024 USAT Military and First Responders National Championship, and congratulates all the overall winners from 2023 Alpha Win Palm Springs Triathlon and USAT Military & First Responders National Championships highlighted below.
