The following timeline provides a brief overview of the week’s events at the Alpha Win Big Apple Triathlon, NYC. All times are subject to change.

Thursday, October 8, 2026 – 19 E 26th St, New York, NY 10010

• 12 – 7 pm: Packet and Timing Chip Pick-Up for all distances* BlackBarn Restaurant

Friday, October 9, 2026 - 19 E 26th St, New York, NY 10010

• 12 – 7 pm: Packet and Timing Chip Pick-Up for all distances* BlackBarn Restaurant

***Athlete Meetings will take place at the top of each hour at BlackBarn Restaurant

• 12- 7:30 pm: Mandatory Bike Drop off at 101st St Field Riverside Park

*There is NO race day packet pickup. All athletes must pick up their packets Thursday or Friday and drop their bikes Friday. NO exceptions.

Saturday, October 10, 2026 – Riverside Dr and W 104th St, New York, NY 10025

• 4:30 am: Transition opens for all distances

• 7 am – 3 pm: Alpha Win Fitness Expo at Finish Area

• 6:30 am: Transition area closed to all Sprint Athletes

• 7:00 am: Transition area closed to all Olympic Athletes

• 7:02 am: Sprint waves begin

• 8:00 am: Olympic Waves begin

• 10:15 am: Sprint Awards Ceremony

• 12:15 pm: Olympic Awards Ceremony**

• 12:30pm – 6 pm: Mandatory Bike pick up

• 6:00 pm- Transition area closed

**PLEASE NOTE: Athletes MUST be present at their Awards Ceremony to receive an award.

Saturday, October 10, 2026, on the West Side of Manhattan.

Yes. Sprint: swim 7:52am, bike turnaround 8:24am, bike course 9:12am, run 10:07am. Olympic: swim 8:50am, bike turnaround 10:20am, bike course 12:05pm, run 2:30pm.

Olympic (1500m swim · 24.8mi bike · 6.2mi run), Sprint (1500m · 12.4mi · 2.5mi), Olympic & Sprint Aquabike (no run), Relays, and the USA Sprint Cup (elite draft-legal sprint, open to all).

The event follows USA Triathlon guidelines; wetsuits are permitted in water below 78°F.

Yes. All participants must have a valid USA Triathlon membership, or purchase a one-day license during registration.

There is NO event parking at Riverside or Central Park. Use public transit — the 1/2/3 subway serves 72nd, 79th, and 96th St — or rideshare.

Yes. Bike rentals are available through Unlimited Biking, our official rental partner.

All gear must be labeled and placed in a clear plastic bag, and may be subject to inspection at transition.

Yes — within designated viewing areas for everyone's safety.

Yes. Awards are presented to the top 3 in each age group. You must be present at the awards ceremony.

Registrations are non-refundable. Transfers and deferrals are available for a fee — see alpha.win for current policy. A full refund is issued only if the race is cancelled.

Three-course dinner, priority packet pickup, complimentary finish-line shuttle, priority transition racking, VIP hospitality, exclusive restrooms, race photos, and commemorative swag.
