Bring your canoe, kayak, or SUP and paddle a beautiful section of the Esopus Creek where it meets the mighty Hudson River. Leaving from Waterside Spa at Diamond Mills (2 Ferry Street, Saugerties), racers paddle toward the Saugerties Lighthouse on this scenic, smooth course offering two distances — 1.5 or 3 miles — for paddlers of any skill level. Race as a single or double, with top-three awards in each section. After the race, enjoy lunch at Waterside Café catered by BLACKBARN Hudson Valley, included with your entry. Registration is free. Participants are asked to donate to the official charity of the race, the United Way of Ulster County: https://ulsterunitedway.org Please bring your own gear: life vests, paddle craft (canoe, kayak, or SUP), oars/paddles, and any other necessary equipment.
