The following timeline provides a brief overview of the weekend’s events at the Alpha Win Triathlon Series – Saugerties, New York. All times are subject to change.

Saturday, September 14, 2024 – Diamond Mills Hotel & Tavern
• 2 – 6 pm: Packet and Timing Chip Pick-Up for all distances*
• 3 – 4 pm: Athlete Meeting for all distance athletes

*It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that athletes pick up their packets on Saturday. Athletes must have photo ID to pick up.

Sunday, September 15, 2024 – Race Site at Saugerties Village Beach and Diamond Mills Hotel and Tavern

  • 5 – 7:30 am: Bike/Gear Drop-Off  and additional packet pickup for Long Course distance athletes
  • 5 – 8:00 am: Bike and Gear Drop-Off and additional packet pickup for Sprint and Olympic distance athletes
  • 7:00 am: Transition area closed to Half distance athletes
  • 7:10 am: Long Course Distance Pre Race Meeting on the beach
  • 7:20 am: Long Course Distance Race Start
  • 8:00 am: Transition area closed to Sprint distance athletes
  • 8:10 am: Sprint Distance Pre Race Meeting on the beach
  • 8:20 am: Sprint Male Race Start
  • 8:23 am: Sprint Female Race Start
  • 8:30 am: Transition area closed to all non-racing athletes
  • 8:40 am: Olympic Distance Pre Race meeting on the beach
  • 8:50 am: Olympic Male race start
  • 8:53 am: Olympic Female race start
  • 10:00 am – 2:00 pm: Brunch at Diamond Mills for athletes who RSVP’d and have bib
  • 10:30 am: Sprint distance Awards Ceremony**
  • 11:00 am – 12:00 pm: Packet and Timing Chip Pick-Up for Splash & Dash athletes
  • 10:00 am – 12:00 pm: Gear Drop-Off for Splash & Dash athletes
  • 12:30 pm: Long Course and Olympic distance Awards Ceremony**
  • 11:50 am: Athlete Meeting for Splash & Dash athletes on the beach
  • 12:00 pm: Splash & Dash race start (11-15 year-olds)
  • 12:05 pm: Splash & Dash race start (7-10 year-olds)
  • 1:00 pm: Splash & Dash Awards**
  • 4:00 pm: Transition area closes

 **PLEASE NOTE: Athletes MUST be present at their Awards Ceremony to receive an award. Unclaimed awards may be shipped if request is made within two weeks after the event. Athlete is responsible for a $10 shipping and handling fee.

That was my first full Ironman. I would not have wanted the experience any other way. Thank you for your efforts in keeping a small town race and treating everyone there like they were family! It was awesome!

I love Alpha Win events

I love Alpha Win events because not only are the events fun and well mapped out, with multiple volunteers and police to assist you (so you are safe and know exactly where you are going) but also because the staff is exceptional!  They are so helpful and friendly! I participated in the Alpha Win Tri Camp, the Lake George Triathlon, and the Saugerties Triathlon and definitely plan on participating in the same events and attending more this year!  I highly recommend and can't even express my gratitude to all the people that make these events possible!

Great races with a personalized feel!

Last season I raced the Lake George 70.3 and the Saugerties Triathlon (Sprint), and each event was like racing with friends. The Alpha Win team recognized me, and welcomed and encouraged me before and throughout each race. I often struggle to control my race day nerves but these races felt different - they were fun while still being challenging. As soon as I crossed the finish line in Lake George 2021, I made plans to enter for 2022 as my A-race for the season. I can't say enough good things about Alpha Win - I'm looking forward to another great race season!
